Sticker Printing

Sticker printing for two very different jobs: one big sticker you can see from across a room, or a pile of little ones for jars, parcels, fuse boards and freebies. Big wall, window and floor stickers are cut from matt vinyl in 30 cm, 50 cm and 1 m. Small stickers and labels come on sheets or cut to size, and there is a full set of trade test and service labels too.

Big or small? The first sticker printing question

Everything in this range falls on one side of a line. On one side, single large stickers: a gym's logo on the wall, a 2 m distance marker by a till, a sale roundel in a window. On the other, lots of small stickers: a jam maker's jar labels, a charity's give-away sheet for a fun day, a thank-you seal on an online order. Work out which side you are on and the rest of your sticker printing order is easy.

Sticker printing materials in plain words

Large vinyl and floor stickers

Printed in full colour on monomeric matt adhesive vinyl and cut as squares, circles or rounded squares. The matt surface cuts glare, so a sticker under shop lights or in a sunny window stays readable. Sizes are 300 mm, 500 mm and 1 m, and you can order just one.

Sheets and small labels

Custom Sticker Sheets come on white or transparent polypropylene in A5, A4 or A3, with lamination options; on clear stock you can ask for white ink behind the colours. Stickers on a Sheet use matt or gloss sticker paper in 18 shapes and sizes, from 25 × 51 mm up to 94 × 140 mm, including circles and ovals.

Trade labels

Choose gloss paper for indoor use, matt paper for indoor labels you write on, or waterproof white polypropylene with a matt laminate for anything that might get damp, like an outside meter box.

Sticker printing sizes and quantities

Big vinyl stickers start at a single piece. Custom Sticker Sheets start at 25 sheets, and Stickers on a Sheet run from 8 labels up to 14,400. The size table near the top of the page shows live prices for the large vinyl sizes; each small-label product shows its own on its page.

  • Stickers are read up close, so supply images at 300 dpi at full size.
  • Keep text and logos clear of the cut line, especially on circles and ovals.
  • On transparent stock, say where you want white ink, or colours will look see-through.
  • Export a PDF with fonts embedded or outlined.

Sticker printing times and delivery

Saver production takes 7 to 10 working days depending on the product, or pay for a faster speed: Standard 5 to 8 and Express 3 to 7 working days, counted from when your order and artwork are confirmed. Everything is made to order and dispatched from the UK. UK mainland delivery is £7.95, free on orders of £100 or more after discounts (artwork fees excluded). Mainland Highlands add £10. Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Wight are quoted. See the delivery page. Stickers & Labels: questions answered

I only need one sticker. Is that allowed?

For the big vinyl stickers and the floor stickers, yes, one is fine and you can go up to a hundred. The smaller label products work in runs: the minimum is 25 sheets for Custom Sticker Sheets and 8 labels for Stickers on a Sheet.

Sticker or label: how do I tell which I need?

Size is the easy test. Our stickers are single pieces between 30cm and 1m, made from matt vinyl for walls, glass and panels. Labels start tiny, at 25 by 51 mm, come on polypropylene or paper, and are sold in batches for jars, boxes and packaging.

What should I use for labels on my homemade products?

Custom Sticker Sheets on white or clear polypropylene, with a laminate or anti-scratch varnish if they will be handled a lot. For simpler labels in standard sizes, Stickers on a Sheet on matt or gloss sticker paper works well.

Can I stick something on the floor to mark a queue?

There is a dedicated floor sticker for exactly that. It comes in the same three sizes as the wall stickers and is designed for smooth floors indoors, like a shop or a reception. Give the floor a proper clean and let it dry before you lay it.

What is the best artwork file for sticker printing?

A PDF made at the final size, with the fonts either embedded or turned into outlines, works best. We can also take AI, EPS and SVG, or sharp JPG, PNG and TIFF images. People look at stickers from close by, so any pictures need 300 dpi at the printed size.

How long do stickers and labels take?

Saver production takes 7 to 10 working days depending on the product, and Express brings it down to 3 to 7 working days, counted from when your order and artwork are confirmed. The courier then usually needs 1 to 3 working days. Each product page shows its own days before you pay.
